Oriental Japanese hand fan, Kitten at Play

I'm so happy whenever I get to put various skills to work together in one piece. This time, I was able to put together what I'm learning in shodo calligraphy with my painting.

This one is the kanji or Chinese character for "play" written in gyosho calligraphy with a striped kitten, obviously wanting to do just that. What do you think? when was the last time you put together two or more different skills to make a piece? I'd love to hear about it

By the way, for the calligraphers there, any tips on how to transform characters and put them together onto a page? I'm always on the look out for different ways to do it!
